November Schedule for ‘Conversations on Peace’ Launch
November 2nd and 3rd, the Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation will be joining the Peace and Justice Institute at Valencia College for the launch of “Conversations on Peace”, a live interactive event taking place in partnership with Valencia College in Orlando, Florida.
The two day event will focus on Race & Privilege, and will feature a keynote discussion with civil rights activist and feminist, Nyaniso Tutu-Burris, who is the granddaughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. She will be joined by author (and DTPF President) Robert V. Taylor, as well as leaders from the local community.
All of the events are free and open to the public. Live events will be held on the East Campus of Valencia College. If you cannot join us in person, there will be an interactive live stream of the event that you can access via Facebook, Twitter, or our YouTube channel.
